The case of the missing Kentino

Hey all, I finally posted a few new pages to this blog. I’ve intended to post The Kentino Trilogy as well as Jami-san & the Tomahawk for quite a while, but with real life being busy I hadn’t sat down and properly edited the Kentino stories into a post-able reader friendly format. Well, this past week I finally got around to finding, scanning in, formatting, editing, re-reading, and posting all the stories I had in my possession; however, there is some unfortunate news… I cannot find The Evil Durik Strikes Back (this is the Kentino story I did for Jason’s wedding). I am a heartbroken and distraught Kentino for I have searched all my computer files and paper stacks, but alas, my efforts have proven to be in vain. I do however have this hope… that one of you may yet have a copy or at least a recording that you can somehow put on a disc or download to your computer and post it to youtube so I can copy it down and get it posted here on this blog and therefore complete the trilogy. In my search for The Evil Durik Strikes Back I even suspected that this might be the work of The Evil Durik, but I quickly vanquished the thought.
So if you happen to have The Evil Durik Strikes Back in some format, please let me know and I will do whatever it takes to post it.

I’m Melting!

Yep, its official, I’m melting. I’m officially melting.
No, it’s not because it’s warm outside, it’s something else entirely, something far less whimsical, something far more permanent than just a few days or even a few seasons.
It all started over 2 years ago, well… I guess if I were really honest it really started over 10 years ago… but that’s another story. This story is a side journey, a rabbit trail.
So, as I was saying, it all started over two years ago but, as with all beginnings, this one’s beginnings were too small to mention. But at some point, I’m not even sure when, something changed and what was once small became something more. And that’s where I’ll begin… see this change in temperature happened to occur in the middle of a storm of sorts, but even in the middle of the storm something incredible happened. A shift began. And along with the shift came a warm breeze blowing on my heart. I recognized it and even enjoyed it, but let’s be honest; when things are frozen solid it takes a while for a warm breeze to produce visible results. Sure things are changing and softening but you usually can’t tell for a while and then all of the sudden you reach a tipping point when you begin to see results.
So this warm breeze has been blowing for a while now, and I’ve been noticing all sorts of little evidences, a few drops here and there. But more and more those drops have been gathering and coming together to form little streams and pools and running all over the place.
It’s been happening so much that I just have to say it.

I’m melting.

So what is it?

What is causing this meltdown……….?

More Winter Fun

My guys & I have been at it in the backyard building snow forts and walls, sledding down the snow hill, and doing more jumps off the garage roof… as of today it’s a 5 foot drop (but in these photos it’s still around 3 feet).

We’re still having fun but I readily admit that I’m very ready for winter & snow to be over.
