20 down, 578 to go (or so)
Wow! That was fast. It was only a few months ago when this thing called school started. But as fast as Aisha can say, “Supercalifragilisticexbealidocious” (which is actually surprisingly quick if you can look past her messing up the beginning and middle but nailing the, “…docious”), the year is done. Just like that Aden can now do things like recognize the alphabet and sound out words and count really high and do math. It’s amazing what children are capable of.

And it sure helps when they have a teacher like Mrs. Kitchen… she is great.
Today was the last day of the first year of school for Aden and as a wrap up it was parent’s day. A day for us parents to come and enjoy a program put on by the kids. The children all did a wonderful job singing and reciting and acting out a play. It was a treat to be able to skip out of work for an hour and enjoy that time in class with them. It reminds you how fun school actually was, and how valuable your child is. You couldn’t pay me enough to not have children. They are so precious.
Anyway, this first (half) year of school went quick, only 578 (or so) more weeks to go. Yahoo!
