So I was sitting at work today, daydreaming, when a thought crossed my mind… if my job was a music album, what sound would it be?
Some people have jobs where silence reigns supreme, that would be one of those nature CD’s where all you hear is leaves rustling, insects buzzing, and birds chirping.
Others have moments of quiet accented with pleasant interludes of human interaction… comtemporary pop.
Someone working in an office enviroment…jazz (slightly disident but it always resolves).
Retail…pop (predictable & disposable).
Telemarketer… gangsta rap (yep, you just want it turned off).
City worker…reggae.
My job… a mix between heavy metal (I work in a lead refinery…) and industrial (…with machinery…) with screaming vocals (…’cause thats the only way to hear each other).
