the heat is here…

Okay, so this photo isn’t exactly telling you what this post’s title is telling you, but it does say something about the area in which we live… because as I write this it’s hot outside (26/27c) and the forecast is for even more heat (over the next 5 days it’s supposed to get up to 36c) but the irony is that only 3 weeks ago we took this photo at the top of Kootenay Pass while getting snowed on, and now it’s toasty warm. That’s mountain weather for you.

soccer kids

So, outdoor soccer is almost done for this year. The guys have been learning a lot and having a great time on their teams. They’ll probably do a mid-summer soccer camp here in Trail to gain more skills and soccer experience and then they’ll be stuck waiting until next winter when indoor soccer starts.
