March 25, 2009happenings
March 17, 2009Well, we’re kind of due for an update on life here on the homefront.
Things are the usual busy, but not too much.
Aisha: Is a vivacious little big girl (or would that be a big little girl?). She’s got a great imagination and plays well with her brothers. She’s a tomgirl. Tomgirl = not a tomboy but not a girlie girl. She loves playing with trains, blocks, LEGO, and CARS (the movie) toycars. She loves skiing and playing outside. She’s nice, we love her.
Cadel: Is 5 but almost 6 and thinks like a 7. He’s a smartie pants. School is going well for Cadel even though he skipped kindergarden and went straight to Gr 1. He and Aden are great friends. He likes skiing and has done a lot of snowshoing with Aden and I. He is also Mr. Geocacher, he loves it; everytime I’m heading out the door he’s there asking where I’m going, just in case I’m heading out to place a cache or look for one.
Aden: Is very musical and a unique kid. He’s very tenderhearted (in a good way), especially toward God. I think that is incredibly amazing and could easily bring tears to my eyes. Aden as doing great at school – he’s almost done Gr 2 work and may have to do some Gr 3 work just to have something to do until the end of the school year.
Angela: Is looking forward to her mama’s visit. She’s busy with her secret project. She’s also addicted to Methbook err I mean Facebook (ha, ha, ha…. she’s going to kill me for putting that up here). She’s a great mama. And I think she’s a hottie.
Kent: That’s me. I’m busy getting ready for a geocaching event that I’ve planned for March 29th. I’ve had a great time going snowshoeing this year. I’ve also had the chance to go snowboarding 5 or 6 times this year, and I’ll probably get up once or twice before the end of the season. I’m also getting ready to record with the band.
Hmmm, that’s it in a nutshell.
“spring”ing
